The higher the shader version the more sophisticated visual tricks the graphics card can render. Even if you could make it work the chip is certainly far too slow. Intel 915G is probably incompatible because it only supports older shaders. Gothic 3 needs a solid graphics card with shader technology 1.4, 2 or 3. We need the exact specification to give you precise advise whether or not it´s worth the effort. Onboard graphics is generally very slow and not fast enough to run games. If it´s still possible I would suggest you return the game.
